Due Diligence Clearance
- Initial non-refundable payment of USD 7,000 for due diligence checks by the Government Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
- Upon clearance, applicants can proceed with the citizenship application.
Contribution:
One-time non-refundable donation to the Vanuatu Government:
- USD 130,000 for a single applicant.
- USD 150,000 for a married couple.
- USD 165,000 for a married couple and 1 child.
- USD 180,000 for a married couple and 2 children.
- USD 25,000 for each additional dependent.
Approval:
After making the contribution and submitting the application, the Citizenship Commission grants final approval.

Process
Timeline: Application process takes an average of 3-4 months.
Preparation and Payment: Prepare the application and pay all associated fees and costs.
Submission: Submit the application.
Residence Permit: A residence permit is granted for 2 years (permanent residency possible after 5 years if the applicant has relocated to Italy).
Interview and Approval: Upon interview and approval, pay the balance of investment, government fees, stamp duty, and other fees.
Final Residence Permit: The residence permit is granted.
