The Alberta Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream is a program designed for international students who have graduated from universities, colleges, or technical high schools in Alberta. This program allows graduates to start a business in Alberta and, if successful, receive support for the settlement process. After a certain period of residency and business operation, applicants can be nominated by the province and apply for Canadian Permanent Residency.
