Latvia

Latvia is located in Northern Europe, bordering Estonia to the North, Lithuania to the South, Russia and Belarus to the East, and the Baltic Sea to the West.

The climate in Latvia is mild all year round, with four distinct seasons. The end of the year and the months of January, February, and March are quite cold, while the remaining months of the year have a temperature range of 19°C – 20°C, which is almost cool and comfortable all year round.

Latvia has been an official member of the European Union (EU) since 2004, and also joined the Schengen area in 2007.
